I'm a creative professional with 20 years of experience and knowledge in the design industry. My diverse background in graphic design and user experience allows me to solve a variety of challenges and excel at creative problem-solving. I am particularly experienced in working within existing brand standards. I currently work as a freelance graphic designer and design educator at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. 

 

Proficient in industry standard software Adobe Creative Suite for both Mac and PC environments, I possess a thorough knowledge of digital and offset printing processes, digital media design, and have a working knowledge of WordPress and HTML/CSS.

Shortly after receiving my Bachelor of Fine Art in Graphic Design from Middle Tennessee State University, I began my career in as an in-house junior designer for in the gift and stationery industry as part of a creative team. Since then, I have added value to in-house marketing teams as a senior designer in a healthcare technology startup as well as a global engineering firm. These positions honed my skills in layout, template building, digital design, prepress and print production, project management, and product development in deadline-driven, fast-paced, high-output environments.

Between my last two in-house positions, I opened Designibly, a freelance design studio in Las Vegas that specializes in print and digital design as well
as brand management and development for small businesses and non-profits.
